From 5 October 2026 · Android, for invited testers

The first version anyone outside the team will use. It has everything we plan to launch with:

• The Daily Puzzle — one verse a day as a cipher, the same verse for everyone, with a calendar to catch up on days you missed.
• Devotionals arrive 16 November — one with every Daily, with the Hebrew and Greek behind the verse. A sample is waiting in the Daily calendar.
• Puzzles at your level — choose a challenge from Gentle to Expert, or answer two quick questions and let RootText suggest one. Harder levels give fewer letters to start with; Harder: check answers only at the end holds every answer until the board is full, as a newspaper cryptogram does. However hard you set it, a puzzle never ends because of mistakes.
• The whole Bible in four translations (WEB, ASV, KJV, BSB) to read and to play — any verse, all 66 books, offline.
• Memorization with spaced repetition — single verses or whole passages, reviewed as one and recited from memory at the end — and 180 guided passages to work through one verse at a time.
• Topics, streaks, achievements, statistics, and backup to a file you keep.
• RootText Plus, for unlimited play and study, with a 14-day free trial on the annual plan.
