Lampstand Coming soon
A Bible cryptogram game. Every puzzle is a verse: each number stands for a letter, and working out the substitution reveals the verse word by word. Slow enough to think, short enough for a coffee break — and the reward is Scripture you have just read closely enough to reconstruct from nothing.
Play any verse in the Bible — all 66 books, in four translations — plus over 2,100 hand-picked memory verses, 180 guided passages, a new Daily Puzzle every day, and spaced-repetition memorization that makes verses stick.

Your data stays yours
Lampstand works without an account — install it and play. There are no ads and no analytics inside, and what you do in the app is stored on your device, not on our servers. As we add online features — syncing between devices, community play — they will be announced clearly, and what leaves your device will always be your choice.
Offline by default
The whole Bible ships inside the application. No connection is needed to read, study, or play — on a plane, in a basement, or with the data switched off.
True to Scripture
The Scripture you see is the Scripture as translated: imported from authoritative sources, checked against a second, and never paraphrased or reworded by us. Every translation is credited in the application — and a mistake in a verse outranks every other bug we could be fixing.
Made to be remembered
The puzzle is how a verse gets your full attention; keeping the verse is the point. Built-in spaced-repetition memorization brings each verse back at widening intervals until it stays, guided passages walk you through whole psalms and chapters one verse at a time, and milestones mark every chapter and book you complete.
